Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the piomover application and services.

1. Service description

piomover is an information service that helps users compare US locations across multiple categories using public and licensed data. Outputs are general informational summaries, not advice.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape or programmatically harvest piomover pages beyond reasonable browsing.
  • Re-publish proprietary outputs (such as the salary translator results, paywalled report content, or AI assistant responses) at scale or for resale.
  • Reverse-engineer the AI assistant or our internal scoring.
  • Use any data displayed by piomover for any purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including: tenant screening, employment screening, insurance underwriting, or credit decisions.

The FCRA restriction is a material term. Crime data we display sourced from FBI Crime Data Explorer is provided for general informational use only.

3. No professional advice

piomover does not provide legal, tax, financial, medical, or investment advice. Comparisons are educational. For decisions involving these areas, consult a qualified professional.

4. AI assistant

The Relocation Assistant is powered by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude). It has access to the user's specific comparison data. It can be wrong; verify anything important.

5. Affiliate disclosure

piomover may earn commissions from affiliate links to moving, real-estate, rental, insurance, mortgage, and internet partners. See our affiliate disclosure. Editorial recommendations are not based on partner relationships.

6. Subscriptions and refunds

  • Paid plans (Premium and Ultra) are monthly subscriptions, cancelable at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Charges already incurred are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Limitation of liability

Service is provided "as-is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, piomover's liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to active users with at least 14 days' notice.

Effective: January 1, 2025.
